The juxtaposition of Black women achieving remarkable success in education while remaining underrepresented in leadership roles is a striking and troubling reality. On one hand, Black women have consistently excelled academically, often outperforming their peers in various educational settings. Their resilience, intelligence, and commitment to education are evident. Many earn advanced degrees and accolades, showcasing their undeniable potential. Yet, despite these achievements, they face significant barriers when it comes to translating academic success into leadership positions.
